« This was by far our favorite location. Beautiful view and great location. It was a little inconvenient to go upstairs to go to the bathroom. I also was a little shocked to see people sitting right outside our patio door having breakfast at 7am. »

« Though we didn't have a pet, it seemed very dog friendly, food and water dishes, secure garden etc. Host was helpful and friendly, comfy cottage, well equipped kitchen and really comfy beds. Small private sitting area as well as garden .A small , but steep incline on road up to location, if you have walking difficulties .We are In our 70s and was fine. »

« We’ve stayed in quite a number of short term rentals and can say that the Bothy has absolutely been our favorite! Fiona has thought of everything and we absolutely loved all the little touches. It was everything we needed. Great, fully stocked kitchen so we could cook healthy meals for ourselves and a very comfy bed to get much needed rest. She even offered to do a wash for us if we needed. We were honestly so sad to leave. Its proximity to Luss was a huge plus. Love the area! »

« What a lovely cottage in a beautiful location. On an arrival it was lovely to have a little welcome package and to find the cottage spotlessly clean. It had everything we needed. No need to have brought wash liquid, toilet rolls etc. The surrounding area is fantastic and is convenient for local amenities.Wish we could have stayed longer. »

« We had a wonderful few days staying in The Old Smiddy cottage. Fiona and David were wonderful hosts, very attentive whilst being happy to give us our space. The cottage itself was very comfortable, all the rooms were a nice size, very clean and well presented. The garden was lovely and we particularly enjoyed watching the wildlife in the burn from the garden!The area is fantastic for enjoying nature and family activities.We would definitely recommend staying here for a couple or small family. »

« Spacious and clean country home. Plenty of room for our whole family. The Walking trails were nice with a grocery store nearby but don't miss out on a delicious meal at The Clachan. »

« Lodge was spotless, good size, hot tub great and very relaxing.Bed was the most uncomfortable we have ever slept in the mattress needs replacing.Shower great very powerful however it didn’t drain very well and folded the floor, kitchen was great but utensils need reviewing, ie new saucepans and frying pan, oven trays needed . »
