« For a last minute trip, we couldn't beat the location. Less than 10 minutes from Sag Harbor and Bridgehampton main streets as well as from Sagaponack beaches. We thought the kitchen & table would be in the room, but William explained the photos have to do with how VRBO has him upload them. Understandable. « If you are looking for a place to sleep, this place is ok. No place to sit down or put anything down. Just a bed and an old beat up tiny side table. Refrigerator is tiny, needed to be cleaned and defrosted. Stains in the bathroom ceiling tiles and the smell of Marijuana at night. Hot plate and microwave present but did not use. The entryway and stairs were dirty and could use a coat of paint and trim. The beach was the highlight and a very short walk. Definitely not worth the $$$ we paid. »

« Adam, the owner was very responsive until we got there, and then decided not to stay because the room was really smaller than we imagined. There is barely enough room to get around the bed. I had asked, if possible, for some sort of a partial refund, but haven't heard anything back as of yet. The room was clean and in well-kept condition, but not nearly as comfortable as the pictures depict. « Jazz is a delightful theme throughout the building with each unit decorated to pay tribute to a jazz great. The Billie suite is the best and the Duke room needs some updating but is serviceable. The hosts were extremely friendly and resourceful, greeted me in person, and accommodated my requests promptly. The clean and large communal kitchen and the in-room coffee machine is a plus. Conveniently located close to downtown. »

It is incredibly peaceful, making it the perfect, inspiring place to sit down and write.A huge bonus was the easy accessibility that made the visit completely stress-free for my mobility-challenged friend.
