East Ayrshire : Lodges

« Location was perfect for walks we wanted to do (including Merrick). Accommodation was new and so in perfect order. I had asked before arrival if bedding was included since the photos didn't show. Answer came back yes. What they didn't tell me at that point was that towels/shower gel/dish towels were not included and so we wasted time going into town to spend £34 on towels. Reception did promise my wife a dish towel so we could dry their cups and plates , but it never appeared. Just let people...

« Everything in the lodge was to a very high standard, now looking into getting a similar mattress as lower back pain gone after only 2 nights sleep. Very private and peacefull location. Only nearby company you're aware of is a characterful donkey accross the road. The 'oak view' is of a very impressive very old oak that you dont normally come accross, must be at least 200 years old, I kidd you not. Highly recommend. Thanks for a lovely stay. »
