« The room was lovely and clean and the bed was very comfy, the hosts are lovely and friendly and very talkative and they offer lots of knowledge about walks and activities in wales and have leaflets avaliable with information about activities. The hosts were also very quick to help with anything that was needed. Also the breakfast was amazing and there was lots of options to choose from »

« The bathroom was quite small and felt cramped, which made it uncomfortable to use. The breakfast offering was also disappointing, with very limited variety. On top of that, there were noticeable plumbing noises from other rooms, especially when toilets were flushed, which affected the overall comfort of the stay. »

« Pet-friendly BUT you need to know that the guesthouse is just a small part of a large caravan and camping site. There’s also a field of horses. Guesthouse clients with dogs are only allowed in rooms accessible from the outside; we weren’t allowed inside the building. So my room opened directly onto the access road, with all the mud and noise that comes from all the traffic, walkers, and horses that passed in front of the door and small window. « The inn is lovely, perfect location, great staff, good food, free parking on the road, wonderfully comfy bed and great bathroom… but beware of room 7 with a sea view.. on the second floor up steep steps but the reason for the 3 star rating is that you will constantly hear the water pump every time anyone in the hotel uses a drop of water. ALL NIGHT LONG! Very hard to sleep or stay asleep when is constantly starting up close by the bed. Were exhausted the next day, so glad we only stayed one...

« Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Ideal location for Fairbourne and surrounding area - you need to go to Dolgellau, Barmouth and try the Precipice Walk and Creggannan Lakes which were lovely walks with stunning views. Nice to get some milk and Welsh cakes which were lovely. Cottage was clean and comfortable, only minor negative was limited information about what to do at check out time, local contacts etc. and there wasn’t much in terms of cleaning equipment apart from a broom so couldn’t do...

« Lovely hotel in quiet location overlooking the estuary. Fab bathroom with large tub. Excellent view from my room. Lovely breakfast with great choice of food. It's a shame they don't do evening meals but there are plenty of options in Barmouth centre just 10 minutes walk away though you will have an uphill walk back. Really enjoyed my stay. »

« Fabulous cottage, really appreciated all the extra touches, large garden which our two cockers really enjoyed. Location great for walks and 12 mins drive to the beach. Would definitely recommend and we would book again. »
