« The hotel was being renovated. Our room was in the process of updating and was not ready to be let out. It had clean bed linen, but needed a thorough clean not just top dusting. It was understaffed with the few staff trying to do everything and failing. I could list all the faults which are the same as previous reviews. The main problem was that all the electric appliances were run from a multiplug, including the kettle, the TV and an old convector heater brought into the room as the radiators...

« We arrived a couple of hours before check in, but we're welcomed by friendly staff who allowed us to leave our luggage. We were able to check in an hour earlier as the room was ready. Room was beautiful, homely and everything we needed. Bed and pillows really comfy. Bathroom was amazing with a rain shower, toiletries and fluffy towels and towelling robes.
