Fabulous sea views from the excellent, if somewhat pricey, restaurant. The hotel is obviously a work in progress - one room was being newly fitted out during our stay. The rooms are pretty small, and our room was very cramped, although it did have the great sea views. We knew it was only a 2-star hotel, so we weren’t expecting the Ritz, but we were very tempted by the sea view from the room, which didn’t disappoint.
There is quite a contrast between the very modern restaurant and rather dated hotel, but in all fairness work is clearly being carried out to bring the hotel up to standard.
The family who run the hotel are very friendly and helpful, although I don’t think they speak much, if any, English, so you will need at least some knowledge of French. That also applies to the restaurants in the surrounding area - menus are all in French only, but that is part of the charm of visiting France.
