« The location was amazing! Easy walk into town and not too much traffic on the road. Aberfoyle is a great town with several food options and access to a lot of activities. There is a grocery store within walking distance too. The apartment itself was nice with basic amenities. I would have given it 5 stars if it was better stocked. We had no real complaints and recommended this as a nice place to stay. »

« Very relaxing cottage with comfortable beds and great hot tub! Wonderful location for enjoying nature.The directions from Cottage.com needed more detail. The hint of being slightly past and across from the Oak Tree Inn and Balmaha boat yard would have been very helpful. »

« Caravan is lovely and comfortable, though can be noisy in stormy weather, though otherwise it's a quiet location. Drive is quite steep for parking. Fantastic views over Loch Long. Access drive is a single road, is quite steep in places and it can be tricky to find the caravan. »

« Much as the location and the stunning views are all plus points of the property, I felt some basics could be much better. Instructions of various living do's and dont's, within the property were not available, particularly, with regards to operation of heating controls. important during winter stays.The quality of bedding in both bedrooms was very poor and the 'double bed' in the second bedroom was awful!! it was disappointing the nice 'looking' fire place in the lounge was only a decorative...

« Great house, great location with lots of great walks with amenities close by. Communication was good with Linda, and there was a clear attention to detail when preparing guests for their stay. Would definitely stay again. We booked for Christmas with family and it was very special. Lots of nice memories were made. We were also super lucky with the weather so the views were outstanding »

« What a lovely place to stay, so close to all places of interest. Great garden for dog, orangery was a lovely space. The whole bungalow was well set out, clean and warm. Lil was brilliant. Just being so close to the hills, seeing the mist in the morning hanging low. The weather wasn't so great when we stayed, but it didn't matter. Had a relaxing stay. »

« Absolutely stunning cottage set in the most beautiful location right on the sea. Property is finished to the highest quality and standard and has everything you could need when staying in a rental. Alan and Ann were wonderful hosts providing lots of local information. The cottage is in a great location with lots of places to visit within a short drive. The outlook from the windows is beautiful- lots of local wildlife can be seen. Very pet friendly. Would highly recommend. »

« Endroit vraiment magnifique de calme et d’une ambiance intemporelle situĂ©e sur le rivage de Holy Loch. Tout est parfait, propre, joli, typique, spacieux et fonctionnel. L’animation quotidienne est l’amarrage du bateau Ferry sans bruit au bout de la propriĂ©tĂ© . La mĂ©tĂ©o beaucoup moins ingrate que dans les montagnes plus au nord. Bon point de dĂ©part pour des excursions avec une voiture. Situation Ă  10km de Dunoon. Magnifique, Ă  recommander ! »

« Die Unterkunft wird auch mit Tieren benutzt und das sieht und riecht man recht gut. Die Lage ist sehr schön, Natur pur. Der Whirlpool ist rege genutzt worden, zusammen mit der schönen Aussicht ein Highlight. FĂŒr Kinder gibt es Spielzeug und auch einen grossen Rasenplatz zum austoben. Die KĂŒche ist ok, Platz fĂŒr 8 Personen eher eng. Das Sofa-Bett war etwas hart, aber man kann in der Stube recht gut schlafen. BĂ€der sind recht ordentlich.
