À quelques pas d'un lac privé alimenté par une source, cette belle maison de 6 chambres et 2 salles de bains avec 3 niveaux d'espace de vie! Cette propriété se trouve sur 200 acres de terrain boisé et environ 15 acres de lac privé avec une seule autre cabane (appartenant au même propriétaire. Consultez l'annonce vrbo # 1925815) Cette maison a quelque chose pour tout le monde sur votre liste et est parfaite pour votre escapade isolée. Amenez vos amis car cette maison accueille 16 personnes! Passez votre temps à faire des randonnées dans les bois, à observer les oiseaux, à pêcher ou à nager dans les eaux cristallines. Vous aimerez vous détendre dans la salle trois saisons ou la grande salle massive avec de grandes fenêtres offrant une vue panoramique sur le lac étincelant, les bois et l'abondance de la faune. La nuit, profitez de l'observation des étoiles, surveillez les aurores boréales, les étoiles filantes et les lucioles pendant que vous êtes assis près du feu de camp. Ensuite, réchauffez-vous près du foyer au sol à double face à l'intérieur, jouez au ping-pong ou cuisinez dans l'une des deux cuisines. Si vous préférez explorer en dehors des 200 acres, la région est connue pour certaines des plus belles cascades de l'État. Cette région possède également de nombreux grands terrains de golf. Ou apportez vos VTT et suivez les sentiers de VTT désignés dans tout le comté. Également à proximité, il y a une tyrolienne, des aventures en eau vive, du paddle board et de l'équitation. Quoi que vous aimiez, nous savons que vous pourrez le trouver ici. Nous ne sommes qu'à une courte distance en voiture de la partie supérieure du Michigan et de la plus grande ville, Iron Mountain.

Great vacation home

Our family has rented a lake house in Wisconsin every year for the last 20 years. Every so often, we would move on to a different property, looking for the perfect location. Well, we finally found it. This was our 3rd straight year here and next year we'll be back again. Here are some of the things that make it great: The house and screened in porch is spacious and can easily accommodate 16 people. The house is well stocked with extra chairs, tables, games, and kitchen supplies. The private lake with its floating swim platform and gravel shallow area is perfect for kids of all ages. The owners are absolutely great to communicate with and really care about their renters. The small pontoon boat (with trolling motor), along with the row boat and kayaks make for extra fun on the water. The supply of firewood is seemingly endless. Our kids play countless games on the ping pong table. The double garage provides plenty of room to stash your fishing gear, blow-up toys, etc. I could go on and on, but you get the idea. In short, you will absolutely love your vacation at this property.

A slice of paradise

Perfect Family Getaway

This is our family's third year at this property and to us, it's perfection! The house is spacious with gorgeous lake views, super clean, and everything we need in terms of cooking/grilling supplies, starter supplies of toilet paper, paper towels, and sink soaps, and toys and games for indoors and out. Linda and Ed really have thought of everything! The private lake is wonderful too, with shallow access for the kids to play in and explore while excellent for fishing, kayaking, and bird watching. We can't wait to go back!

The Perfect Family Vacation

We were 4 generations, from 4 to 96 years old. The was accessibility to all needed for all. Even the 88 year old was able to get on the pontoon boat and fish. The 13 acre lake is private and so you never see anyone else. The beach was safe for the little kids, the house has all the amenities of home, being out in the woods the wifi is slow enough to keep you from working but good enough to get information needed. If you want solitude and great family times around the meal table, playing games, sitting around the campfire and watching the kids play in the water on a lake that is 90% visible from the deck - this is the place.

Perfect -- 5 Stars in every category

The common areas of the house itself are spacious, the bedrooms are large, and the kitchen has everything you need. The pebble beach at the waterfront extends well into the water, providing endless entertainment for the kids (frog catching, fish watching, jumping off the swim platform, etc.) The lake is spring fed, so the water is clear and our kids enjoyed snorkeling. We spent countless hours on our "floaties" just watching the clouds drift by. We caught fish every day (catch and release only) and made good use of the two kayaks and the pontoon boat with electric trolling motor. Communication with Linda was easy, straight forward, and prompt. In short, she really cares about her guests. This is the second time our family has rented this property, and we will be renting again next year. This property can't be beat!

Ideal Family Retreat

For the second year in a row, our 4-generation family has reveled in this peaceful, private lake house. Arriving later than anticipated, we stepped out of the car and couldn't get enough of the blanket of stars overhead, undisturbed by bright lights. The basket of goodies, welcoming note, and Linda's call the next morning made us feel right at home in this spic-n-span, gorgeous lake house. Our days quickly fell into relaxed routines of mornings spent fishing, kayaking, and playing in the crystal clear water on the shallow dockside gravel beach; afternoon naps and reading on the porch; exploratory woodland walks up the gravel lane; and evening sunsets and campfires. Pure delight!

Amazing!

We have rented cottages in northern WI for the past 7 summers. We have stayed at some really great places, but have always bounced to a new one for the following summer....just trying to find the perfect fit for our family. This summer, we found it at Linda & Ed's beautiful lake house. We have already rebooked for next summer. Beyond a house suitable for our family (fluctuating between 10->16 people throughout the week), we were also looking for a waterfront that would be suitable for smaller children (2, 4, 5 6 year old). Both the house and waterfront were beyond our expectations. The pictures give you a good sense, but let me tell you...in person....completely amazing! The house has everything and anything you may need! Each time I would ask "I wonder if they have xxxx", it would be found one minute later. Very clean, very spacious and very comfortable. The waterfront provided endless entertainment for the kids, The gradual pebble slope into the spring fed/clear water was excellent for the littlest. Frog catching, swimming, boating, fishing, they just had such an exciting time. We are a paddling family, and having a calm/wake free body of water was so nice. Linda, Ed and their team are so kind and clearly communicate everything you need to know! We created so many memories! Both the adults and kids will remember these times forever. Thanks for sharing your lake house with us!

Beautiful Cabin on the Lake

Loved staying at this property. Very private and quiet and more than enough space for our group of 11. Pretty much had the lake to our selves, we loved using the kayaks, paddle boat and fishing everyday. Cabin was completely stocked with everything we needed and more, would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic!

The house was big enough for all 16 of us and easily more. The lake wasn't huge but plenty big enough for kayaking and swimming, Even caught some nice bass!! Linda was great to work with and so very nice. The home was stocked with all that we needed. The kids loved catching frogs on the shore. We all loved sitting on the porch just looking at the lake, it was so peaceful. We saw lots of deer and even heard wolves howling while sitting around the campfire! If you have a chance, visit all of the falls in the area, twelve foot falls has a great place to roll up your pants and play in the water! The memories created here will be cherished forever and we will definitely be coming back!!

I Wish I Could Keep It a Secret

Our family has rented lake homes in Wisconsin annually for the past 18 years. This one tops them all. The living room, kitchen, and sun porch are even larger than they look in the pictures and the bedrooms are spacious as well. Our kids spent hours in the basement playing ping pong or congregating around the table. The second refrigerator in the basement is also a plus for larger families. The lawn slopes nicely down to the dock where the the first six to ten feet of lake bottom is layered with small pebbles, making it easy to get in and out of the water (which is clear and inviting). Don't underestimate the value of the small pontoon boat. In addition to fishing, everyone in our group loved to tour the lake. It is powered by an electric trolling motor, so even the kids can operate it safely. The owners provided extra folding chairs, a folding table, life jackets, a paddle boat, a rowboat, kayaks......the list goes on and on. The property is impeccably clean and the owner is absolutely great to work with. To sum it all up: You're going to love it!!!

Private and Perfect

Our 4-generation family, ages 1-83 loved this gorgeous property, which has something for everyone. The sun porch, with its versatile levels of screens, allowed as much or as little cool air and bird sounds (loons, woodpeckers, owls, etc.) as you'd want. We found toys such as nets, shovels, and buckets that kept our 1 and 3 year old busy at the water's gravel edge, which has a wide, shallow slope. We truly appreciated the thoughtful gestures that made this a wonderful home away from home: games/puzzles galore, a well-stocked kitchen for cooking and baking, life jackets, firewood, hot dog sticks, and more. The best part - we had the lake and property all to ourselves! We've already booked our time for next year!

One of a Kind

It truly is a one of a kind property. If you are seeking a peaceful, tranquil location away from any outside noise then this is the place to stay. Beautiful cabin in a great location

This property was perfect for a family vacation. Our group consisted of three generations and everyone had a great time! The location is beautiful and peaceful, the cabin is well stocked and very spacious. There are many outdoor activities for all ages and we can’t wait to go back!
