« Host was responsive, which we appreciated, but there were a few issues. Cleanliness wasn’t up to standard on arrival, and an additional room we requested wasn’t made up. The caravan felt quite personal, with family belongings left throughout and food in cupboards/freezer. Some rooms were being used for storage, which made the space feel less like dedicated guest accommodation. Overall, improvements in cleanliness and preparation would make a big difference. »

« A perfect lodge in a great spot. The lodge looks directly onto a field so we regularly had cow and sheep walking past. It was very peaceful.The lodge had all the amenities you could need including extra towels for the hot tub which is always a bonus.It was a great spot for travelling (by car) around the local area. »

« Very comfortable caravan with all the basic essentials covered. Milk on arrival with the tea and sugar would have been nice but the Spar in Port William a few miles away was well stocked. The View cafe in Port William was excellent well worth a visit. Caravan was in a good location at the back of the site with views out to sea. »

« Very clean property but dated and slightly shabby.check in was difficult as the host didn’t reply to my emails so we just turned up at the caravan thankfully it was open. On the information we were led to believe there would be internet, there wasn’t, I wouldn’t have booked or paid the 425 for that particular caravan for four nights and we came home two days early. »

« Location was perfect for walks we wanted to do (including Merrick). Accommodation was new and so in perfect order. I had asked before arrival if bedding was included since the photos didn't show. Answer came back yes. What they didn't tell me at that point was that towels/shower gel/dish towels were not included and so we wasted time going into town to spend £34 on towels. Reception did promise my wife a dish towel so we could dry their cups and plates , but it never appeared. Just let people...
