« This was the perfect spot for our exploration of Isle of Skye. The cottage was exactly as pictured, the bed comfortable, the view impeccable,and the hosts lovely. They met us on arrival to show us some things in the house and gave us fresh bed an homemade jam. They were very responsive to questions. « We absolutely loved our stay at the Beacacarrie house! The property looks remote on the map but is quite convenient and we actually saw some of the most stunning and quintessential Scottish highland sceneries to and from the property (like the highland cows). The house is nice, spacious but cozy, and very clean, and has great view of the ocean. The host is very responsive and helped us with everything we needed. « This was a wonderful stay, with great directions from Alan, extensive welcome snacks and so forth in a clean, well-designed space. Parking is easy, walking in to the center of Portree also very simple. Alan had many siggestions for what to do and lots of maps and brochures available to help with decision making. I would most definitely stay here again! »
