Introducing Henry’s Cabin—the first of several tiny homes in the Johnswood Off-Grid Cabins collection. If you’re looking for something more comfortable than a campsite, this “improved tent” sleeps up to 4 and offers a fun, simple way to unplug and enjoy the outdoors.
Inside, you’ll find the essentials for a cozy stay, including bedding, a small table with chairs, battery-operated lanterns, and a propane wall heater to take the edge off cooler nights. Outside, enjoy a charcoal grill and a front porch with seating—perfect for slow mornings and quiet evenings. Please plan to bring your own water, towels, coolers, camp chairs, charcoal, and any additional gear needed for cooking and washing up.
Traveling with friends? White Birch Cabin next door can accommodate up to 6 more guests. You can book both together under our “Henry’s & White Birch Cabins – Johnswood Off-Grid Cabins on Drummond Island” listing. The site can also accommodate one RV (no water or electricity)—just ask for details if you’d like to bring one along.
Tucked just off Johnswood Road, Henry’s Cabin is ideally located for outdoor adventure. Dickenson Lake is nearby for fishing and kayaking, and hundreds of acres of State land are right at your doorstep for hunting and exploring. You’re also less than half a mile from Kreetan/Glen Cove Road, connecting you to over 60 miles of ATV and ORV trails. And when it’s time to cool off, Big Shoal Beach—a local favorite for swimming and kayaking—is just down the road.
