« We had a lovely stay at Kingfisher cottage. The grounds of Maesgwynne Mansions (on which this small courtyard of cottages is situated) are lovely; this time of year flowering rhododendrons are a highlight, and a walk around took us past the fishing lake and neighbouring fields with various farm animals. There are fabulous views, and the outdoor swimming pool had a cover enabling us to use it even in early May. very peaceful & highly recommended. »

« We received a warm welcome from Cam. Our room was clean and our bed incredibly comfortable. Breakfast was pure delicious perfection. My wife had pulled a muscle in her back and stayed working in the lounge area. Cam made sure that my wife had a hot water bottle, to keep the injured muscle comforted, and pots of tea to keep her going. It is obvious that Cam goes the extra mile for all her guests. « Our stay at Y Cartws was lovely and relaxing, very cosy cottage. Was amazing to walk the ground and interact with the goats and horses. The nearby river was very relaxing to listen to, especially in the hot tub at night. Hot tub is at a set temperature which cannot be adjusted. Amenities were great, kitchen is well stocked with utensils and had delicious home made brownies waiting for us. Property was mostly clean but there was some negatives, bathroom was either mouldy or mould stained....

« I had a really nice stay at this guesthouse. It is kind of old-fashioned, but not rundown. A lot of decorations reminiscent of Carmarthen's past as well as of the place itself. A place you could maybe have found the same 30 or 40 years ago and well-maintained eversince. I really loved the mood. Also, the owners are really super nice, kind and welcoming. A good traditional cooked breakfast is served in the morning. Go there if you like old-style UK and want to support independent owners. I would...
