Welcome to this delightful Eleuthera Piccolo Smeraldo house located in the exclusive Double Bay, South Palmetto. Completed in January 2026, off Bank Road, directly on the pink sand of Double Bay Beach with 120 ft of beach frontage. This place offers incredible sunrise views from the house and grounds. More than 1 acre of TOTAL PRIVACY. Stroll down the easy-graded walkway among tropical vegetation to the pristine beach area. On a quiet day you can hear the ocean surf. At night, because of the privacy and very little light pollution, star gazing is great.
After your day in the sun, kick back on the cushioned chairs/lounge, and relax in the air-conditioning while watching your favorite shows/movies on the 55" Smart TV. (bring your login info for your favorite tv apps) WIFI is included but is not guaranteed! You will be on a small island with poor infrastructure and power/internet outages are fairly frequent! Prepare a plan with your cell carrier if you absolutely need constant internet. In the main area, there is a full kitchen with a kitchen island. The Kitchen is fully equipped along with all the comforts you would expect in your own vacation home. Microwave a snack or cook some fresh fish from the market or a local fisherman (or your catch of the day) in the gas stove or oven. Enjoy your meal with the provided utensils and glasses, coffee cups and dishes. Make your morning coffee with the available espresso or drip coffee machines (Bring your favorite coffee). The bathroom has a hot-water rain shower and standard toilet and a double sink vanity.

As inviting as the interior may be, nature provides countless charms out on the front patio. Relaxing in the shade of the patio, you can enjoy your morning breakfast or beverage while listening to the melodious birds or spotting hermit crabs and geckos. The outdoor patio table is also perfect to enjoy lunch or dinner. You can relax on the covered sitting area or sunbath in the provided two lounge chairs.
Two Queen bedrooms with freshly laundered bedding with temperature controlled air conditioning or coastal lighted fan. Each bedroom has a full size closet with plenty of space to hold all your luggage and your belongings.
This house was finished in January 2026. It was built according to recent local codes to withstand extreme hurricane force winds, including doors and windows! When booking this house, our goal is a completely satisfactory experience. After each booking this home is thoroughly inspected, cleaned and laundered. Your booking includes non-stop support from ownership and our local caretaker. Before, and while on the Island, we are just a phone call or text away with any questions. This is our home for several months a year, and we believe you will quickly see how it is all you need to vacation on beautiful Eleuthera Island.
Eleuthera Piccolo Smeraldo is off the famous Bank Road, an unpaved road that snakes through the tropical vegetation with stunning view of the ocean.

Piccolo Smeraldo is centrally located near the settlement of North Palmetto Point which has several grocery shops, pharmacy and restaurants. The historic town of Governor's Harbour, the main town on the island, is a twenty minutes drive from the property. Governors Harbour has grocery stores, banks with ATM's, gift shops, liquor stores, dive shop, bakery, and half a dozen excellent restaurants. One or another of the restaurants/bars will have live music almost every night of the week. You can also buy the fresh catch of the day to grill at home from the town dock.

ELEUTHERA IS NOT FOR EVERYONE;
If Miami Beach is your thing we respectfully suggest you pick a different destination. Eleuthera is a sleepy island with some flaws; bad roads, dated infrastructure, more frequent than back home power / internet outages and some slow service at times. We say this because we want you to be fully informed about our island before you book your vacation. In Eleuthera people are genuine, helpful and kind. It is unspoiled and gorgeous with no traffic jam, no traffic lights and kind drivers. You will explore the most stunning beaches you have ever seen and have them usually all to yourself. Last but not least, crime is very low in Eleuthera unlike other Bahamian and Caribbean islands.
