Encore Cottage is a contemporary, ski in/out mountain retreat perfectly situated within Tamarack Resort! Centrally located yet surprisingly private, this renovated 2BR/2.5BA cottage in Tamarack Resort offers modern comfort and the thrill of adventure from your doorstep. Featuring air conditioning, a private hot tub, fireplace, private patio w/ BBQ, spa-like ensuite, and in-unit washer/dryer, you'll enjoy mountain tranquility while being just a short walk from the energy of the Village.


At Bespoke Properties, our priority is focusing on the little details to make sure you have the most relaxing and comfortable stay possible. We're LOCAL and here when you need us!

Upon booking you'll receive a custom Digital Guidebook with our favorite local recommendations and house manual, as well as access to concierge add-ons for purchase in our Marketplace like transportation arrangement, mid-stay cleans, grocery delivery, dog walking, and itinerary planning. We want your visit to be completely carefree!

All of our properties use self check-in; door code sent three days prior to arrival.

Tamarack Resort is a four-season destination 90 miles north of Boise; it's the perfect basecamp for your west central Idaho adventures, located between the recreation opportunities in Cascade and McCall or those further afield. Nestled on 3,500 acres with 2,800 feet of vertical and adjacent to Lake Cascade, it offers year-round recreation, including some of the best skiing and snowboarding in Idaho, Nordic and snowshoe trails, hiking, downhill and cross country mountain biking, zipline tours, whitewater rafting, and motorized and non-motorized water sports. Tamarack also offers a host of on-site dining and leisure activities, to include a spa, pickleball courts, and disc golf course. Be sure to check their schedule for hosted events and activities.

You'll have the entire home to yourself, including a fully-equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, private keyless entry, in-unit washer and dryer, covered deck, + private hot tub.

You'll have access to all outdoor public amenities including the gas firepit at the Lodge, pickleball courts, disc golf, and resort cross-country hiking/biking trails. This property does not have access to the Lodge fitness center, pool, or hot tub.

Encore Cottage is located on a quiet cul de sac in the Golden Bar neighborhood, with SKI IN access from Lower Encore located DIRECTLY in front of the property! It also has direct access to hiking/biking/groomed Nordic trail systems, and is a quick jaunt to the Village in the summer. One of the few cottages that sleeps 7, it's super well-equipped for families or groups looking for a Tamarack homebase that offers both comfort and utility. Maximum occupancy is 7 people.

OPEN FLOOR PLAN
Open concept main level features a half bath, fully-equipped kitchen for home cooking and baking, cozy living area with a gas fireplace, vaulted ceiling, and plenty of windows to take in the scenic mountain views. The queen sofa sleeper is a plus for larger groups. Also has air conditioning, which is a rare Tamarack treat in the summer!

PRIMARY BEDROOM
Enjoy the comforts of your King bed and relax in the spa-like ensuite, complete with a large soaker tub and separate shower. You also have the convenience of full-sized in-unit washer and dryer. The primary bedroom is on the main level.

GUEST BEDROOM
The upstairs guest bedroom has a Queen bed and a Pottery Barn Twin Sofa Sleeper, as well as an ensuite bathroom. Please be aware the closet in this room is locked off, but a free-standing garment rack has been added for your comfort.

OUTDOOR LIVING
Encore Cottage has an exceptionally private covered back patio with green space both to the south (trail access) and east, and it's the perfect place to start your day with coffee and the sounds of nature; you can also have a cookout on the gas BBQ grill. A soak in your private hot tub is the perfect way to après or unwind after a day on the mountain.

PARKING
Guests will NOT have access to the garage, but the driveway can accommodate two cars. Guest parking is also available nearby. For Guests with over-sized vehicles or boats, parking permits can be purchased from Tamarack Outfitters for the Aspen Parking Lot. Please call ahead to confirm availability.

RECOMMENDATIONS:
*If you're flying into Boise International Airport, we recommend renting a vehicle directly from the airport.

*It's possible to get an Uber from Boise/BOI to Tamarack Resort, although it's not necessarily a reliable mode of travel; depending on your arrival time and season, you may have difficulty finding a driver who will accept your ride. Uber is not currently accepting advance reservations for trips to Tamarack Resort from Boise; on-demand rides will be your only option.

*If you're traveling in winter or you plan to enjoy the many off-roading adventures available in Valley County, we HIGHLY recommend a 4WD vehicle.

SUMMER CONSTRUCTION NOTICE
Our mountain town has a short summer season, which means a compressed window for construction. New homes and road work happen quickly between June and September. While we update listings when we're aware of neighboring projects, we don't always have advance notice. If you're booking during warm weather months, it's safe to assume some construction activity may be happening nearby. We have no control over neighboring sites or noise, and unfortunately cannot provide refunds due to construction. That said, we're always here—reach out with questions, concerns, or noise complaints and we'll do what we can to help.

We don't make exceptions to the cancellation policy agreed to at booking—this maintains fairness for all guests. Please review your reservation's cancellation terms carefully before finalizing. Please note all refunds (other than stays booked on Airbnb) will be less any credit card processing fees. We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance for peace of mind. Thanks for understanding.
