« This is a lovely setting for a rustic home. But there is nothing rustic about the interior details the hostess provided. No detail was left out and everything was labeled and thought of. She is definitely a 5 star hostess. Beds were comfortable, linens were nice. »

« It had a large living room. The owner allowed us to bring family to the house to play games and visit. I appreciate the space for our visit. The house was clean and had good pans and dishes so we could provide for my uncles, aunts, and cousins that stopped by. I would recommend to make the stairs a little lower for older guests to enter easier. »

« Nice rural setting with direct view of Sleeping Ute Mountain. Generally quiet but a two lane road is nearby as is the municipal airport. The loft is accessed with a ladder and the headroom over the bed is limited. The finishes are “rustic” and simple. »

« This was our first time staying in a tiny house. It had everything we needed for our short stay. The view is incredible, we enjoyed watching the sunset and rise. The owner was very accommodating as well. »

« Everything was as expected; my only comment is - believe it or not: the soap! The soap dispenser on the MB bathroom sink did not work; the soap bottle in the shower was not very inviting to say the least. It had been in use for a long time, there was not much left in it and I could not bring myself to use it ... »

« Such a lovely property outside town. Great for star gazing and hiking. Kitchen is nicely set up for cooking. The loft is perfect for elementary-aged kiddos. Host was very responsive to questions. Would gladly stay here again next time we come to the four corners area. Thank you!! »

« The pictures do not do this place justice at all. It is a lovely little home with excellent privacy, appears to be brand new, and has a perfect outdoor seating area. The fenced in yard was also a huge plus with our dog. Also easy access to nearby mountain biking and dirt biking. We anticipate a return trip in the future! »

« Communication was stellar! Check in was easy. The house was super comfortable, well-stocked, and had a lovely view. The property was beautiful. It is pretty far from civilization, but that was a bonus for us. We had a relaxing day in between visits to archeological sites. »

« We had a great stay in Durango! The location was fantastic, and the house was perfect for our large family. We traveled with four kids, and having a separate downstairs space for them to play was a huge bonus. They loved all the games, including the foosball table, ping pong, Pac Man, and more, which kept them entertained for hours.The host was easy to communicate with and responded quickly whenever we had a question. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We hope to come back again soon. »

« Can I give 6 stars??? If I could, I wouldn't hesitate! We had the most phenomenal stay at Heart Stone House. The hosts have thought of everything to ensure our stay was as enjoyable as possible. The house is beautiful, spacious, and has many indoor and outdoor spots to relax, connect, and enjoy the beauty of Durango. The location is fantastic - we walked to hiking trails, the river walk, and to great restaurants and coffee spots. We hope to return, both to Durango and to Heart Stone House! »
