« If you are looking for a unconventional place to unplug and unwind, the Cheese Wedge Cabin is a charming getway. Etienne is a lovely host who made us feel welcome and comfortable on her farm. We got up close and personal with the sheep, chickens, and Phoenix the sheepdog (who is the gentlest giant and steadfast companion).
We had plenty of privacy in the cabin while still being close enough to get anything we needed from the private guest kitchen & bath connected to the main house.

« The facility was unsafe and unsanitary. There was a clear mouse infestation, and the odor became unbearable. The lack of running water made the property unlivable. I contacted the host multiple times regarding the water issue, but nothing was done.Additionally, the oven did not work, there were no lights on the outside staircase leading to the bedroom, and there was no lock on the door, creating serious safety concerns. »

« Beautiful property with a stunning view. It was a great weekend escape and I absolutely love that it was a dog friendly stay. The owner is incredibly responsive. We did have an issue getting stuck / sliding down the driveway due to ice and snow. Luke replied right away and had someone come plow and bring salt. « This is the cutest little place, and it served as the perfect NYE getaway from the city noise and lights for me & my dog. They have everything you could need on hand and the close proximity to Lake Le-Aqua-Na State Park was just the cherry on top. The hosts were also very responsive when I had questions, which was very appreciated! I would absolutely rebook in the future. »
