We had the amazing experience of being the guests of the rural village of Akiota. One of the things they gave to us was a hike up this beautiful river gorge during the perfect autumn foliage.
The last stop on our Akiota adventure. The picturesque 400 year old village of Ini.
We were given a tour of   Ini by the mayor. He talked to us about what it was like trying to keep this 400 year old rice growing village alive. A hard task when the average age is 65.
