« I’ll start with the positives: This unit is centrally located (to Twizel) as the description indicates. It’s also only a 40-45 minute drive from Mt. Cook. The negatives: when we arrived the house was full of moths, flies, and other insects. My wife was disgusted, and I spent the better part of an hour getting them out of just the bedroom alone so we could sleep (clearing the rest of the house would have taken a good portion of our stay). The next morning, we woke up early to make breakfast...

« Stayed here after our wedding so we were looking for a nice spot to relax, and this definitely delivered, although it may be a wee bit of an old house it was very homely and with the fire going it was lovely and warm, whilst also having stunning views of the ocean.We loved it definitely would recommend this one! »

« A fantastic location for relaxing, fishing, walking on the beach and watching the local wildlife. The property was tidy and warm. There is some road noise but nothing that disturbed our sleep. The occasional train passing by didn't really disturb us either, in fact it was a bit of a novelty to see a train.The patio area at the rear is a real sun trap in the afternoon. Generally a nice stay. Will possibly be back again. »
