« Our host, Maria, was a delight. We came to the property late after Hobbiton due to a cancelled flight. No time to get a SIM card at the Auckland Airport so I missed her messages about leaving a key for us. She was so gracious when I knocked on her door and helped us get settled in. Let us some animal feed to give the animals at our leisure. Lovely to talk to and the master bed was so comfortable! Would book here again! »

« Had arrived late in Waitomo, friendly greeting by hosts whom were very accommodating showing the suite and property grounds should I wish to take evening stroll. Was an early start next morning but super easy to check out after wonderful nights sleep. Would definitely stay again if in area very central to all the activities. Thank you »

« Magnifique séjour avec nos hôtes Isabella et Brandon, un cadre merveilleux entouré de superbes chevaux de courses ( on peut les voir galoper à l'entraînement très tôt le matin), Ils nous ont accueillis comme si nous étions leurs amis, ils ont une culture autant kiwi qu'européenne, c'était un vrai plaisir de converser avec eux. Le petit déjeuner maison était gargantuesque, confiture, pain grillé, jambon, yaourts, jus d'orange, etc...Netflix à gogo ;) Très bon wifi »

« I was well cared for at the House with No Nails! The property is beautiful & clean, & in a gorgeous rural setting set amidst mountains, big blue skies, & farm animals. The house is an easy 25 minute drive from the Hobbiton set in Matamata, which was my plan while in this area of NZ. Highly recommended! »
