« Captain Jak's took great care of my wife and me during our recent stay. The staff were incredibly kind, our room was tidy and comfortable, and the housekeeping staff did a great job. We were pleasantly surprised at the amenities we had available to us - we found out we had free access to bicycles during our stay, and we were able to book a private shuttle from Placencia to Belize City at the last minute for a very competitive price. « Modern downstairs apartment with private, quiet patios. Both patios have a beach view, although all the young palms which provide privacy also partially block the view. Very nicely appointed with everything we needed. It is at the far end of the sidewalk from the pier, so either be able to walk or rent a golf cart. The hosts reacted immediately to a minor issue with the air conditioner and sent a repairman who fixed it within an hour of our request. Very nice new accommodation . »

« Annalise and Doyle were excellent host. They also owned DTOURZ tours. We did a birding tour with Doyle , 2 driving trips and a Monkey River village tour. The guides were excellent.There house is on a quiet lagoon with a palm thatched roof room looking out on the lagoon. Great place for getting out of the sun and relaxing.Nightly live music that ended at 9pm at their wonderful outdoor restaurant next store called Doyle’s Smoke Yaad.I will come back. »
