« Property exceeded our expectations. A beautifully decorated, super cozy and comfortable stay. Spotlessly clean. The host was incredibly thoughtful in leaving the property lit up for our late night arrival with the heating on and the electric blankets warming our beds. Prompt communication from host. « Such a lovely cottage. The hen welcoming committee comes around a few times a day to see how you're doing, which our infant loved. The love triangle of golden pheasantsbdarting to and fro in the yard was also entertaining. As our stay was for a conference in Lincoln, we made ourselves at home, making full use of the kitchen and laundry. « Clean, tidy and warm house, that gave our family enough room to be together and separate as needed. Short walks to shops and the waterfront, so well situated. There were a couple of things we missed that I thought would be standard, like dishcloths and a coffee plunger in the kitchen (we bought one), and games/jigsaws in the living room. Can I also suggest a refresh of the dreadful artwork in the house, which is reminiscent of garage sale leftovers; and that the very scruffy garden swing seat be...

« Such a stunning view!! I could have sat in the spa soaking that in all day, especially when the sun is shining across the bay! The house is a perfect size for 2 adults with all that is needed to cook and have a few days out of the hustle and bustle. Akaroa is close by and there are plenty of great cafes and bars to eat at a short 10 min drive away. »
