« Beautiful lodge in a beautiful private peaceful location. Very well equipped and furnished. Lovely and warm with underfloor heating. Blessed with warm sunshine we made the most of the deck, sun loungers and hot tub. Access to the nearby spa at the golf club was a lovely bonus. Owner was friendly and helpful. Lots of safe roads for cycling around the location. Would definitely stay again. »

Nice and elegant classy hotel

"Very nice and confortable hotel, and well located. The rooms and the place itself is in a classic british style. Breakfast is very nice and it is cooked on demand, which in my opinion may be a down-side, if you're not willing to spend 45 minutes for the breakfast (which esa my case most of the days as I was in a work stay). "

"Une déco très sympa qui complète à merveille un voyage dans cette magnifique ville de York. Le personnel est avenant et il est possible pour des raisons environnementales de ne pas faire changer les serviettes tous les jours et c’est la première fois que je vois une poubelle de tri dans une chambre d’hôtel."

"Un séjour de 3 nuits pour un déplacement professionnel. Le confort des chambres est super Il manque cependant des placards de rangement car celui existant est utilisé pour le coin café. Le service housekeeping laisse cependant à désiré. Le 1er jour nos tasses à café n’ont pas été remplacées alors qu'elles étaient sales, les sachets de thé et de café ont été laissés sur place et le 2eme jour nos lits n’ont pas été fait. "
