« Wonderful property with fabulous views overlooking the sea and coastal walks. Many thanks Johnny we really enjoyed meeting you and we’re amazed you had built it yourself. Really enjoyed the hot tub in all types of weather. Kitchen well equipped and the shower larger than the photos suggest. Enjoyed walk down to beach and cafe for Sri Lanka takeaway curry. Also Mortehoe Fish and Chip shop a must. »

« We had the best time here, the location is perfect to explore Croyde, Saunton Sands and Woolacombe. The Rafters Lodge, had everything you need for a relaxing weekend away. Great hot tub too! »

« We had a great weeks stay at the Thistledown lodge. The property was very clean and perfect for our arrival. The instructions/directions were clear and made for easy arrival. The lodge was perfect for us and our dog. The lodge had everything we required for a great stay. The hot tub was perfect as well, while the dog enjoyed her time in the garden (which was fully secure for her to roam about freely) The lodges location was a short walk to two great local pubs, which both served great food....

« This is a really lovely property in a great location. It’s tucked away enough that it’s great for a romantic getaway, and close enough that you can venture down to Lynton & Lynmouth for an explore. We had some trouble booking on a different website (booking . com) but the hosts were so quick to respond and so friendly that we were completely sold on booking the property. The inside is clean, and very thoughtfully done up, and the hosts had left some lovely touches for us. We ended up visiting...

« Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lovely lodge albeit a bit tired in places. Peaceful, quiet and comfortable. Hot tub was lovely, warm and smelled clean. Staff very friendly and professional. Only drawback is it's 5 miles from nearest shop so if you forget anything you have a treck to get whatever. Gorgeous meal in restaurant. Would return »
