« An excellent property with amazing views. It had everything we needed, fully equiped kitchen and a clean shower. The TV in the lounge has a number of apps downloaded and the outdoor area has a table, chairs and a barbecue. We loved using the hot tub and Woolacombe is only a short walk away. »

« Lovely views, not a bad location, lots of character, plenty of parking and a great location for a large group, large dining area especially good for family get togethers. Dishwasher was broken (they wanted to fix this on our last day and so I refused as it would be a huge inconvenience having workmen there on our last day) and floors left soaking on arrival from where It seems they were trying to fix it. Mattresses on the double beds extremely uncomfortable, visible black mould in the upstairs...

« Along with directions, the information pack was given by the owners prior to arrival which was useful. Upon arrival the lodge was spotlessly clean. The location was perfect, so quiet and peaceful. We were not overlooked by anyone - really escape. The lodge itself was well equipped and the hot tub was exactly what was needed after a day walking the stunning costal paths. Couple of pubs within walking distance, Croyde 5 mins drive away. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. »

« The accommodation was right on the beach. The rooms were well equipped and everything we needed to enjoy a relaxing four days away. The view of the beach was beautiful and listening to the sea in the early morning was so relaxing. The staff were very friendly and kept the site very clean and tidy. « Third stay in Top Meadow for us and our little dog. Fabulous as always. Great location, far enough from the crowd but close enough for amenities and beautiful beaches. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable and big safe garden for the dog. Hot tub is a bonus, surprise bottle of bubbly in the fridge, Top Meadow really felt like a luxury weekend break. I would recommend it to anyone and will definitely be booking again and again. Thank you to our hosts for a wonderful stay. »

« Thistledown offered superb privacy in a quiet location offering two friendly pubs within walking distance. We visited in mid May and benefited from slightly fewer tourists on the roads and at the beach. Putsborough beach can easily be reached by walking if you are moderately fit. The WiFi is ‘variable’ so don’t rely on it being available but it was nice to be able to disconnect from the world. I would happily re-book. »
