« Well stocked cottage with a lot of entertainment in addition to the beautiful lakes and water trails. Had loads of fun on kayak adventures with our two boys. Caught plenty of fish. Enjoyed the outdoor living space, grill, and hot tub. Was a bit surprised that no linens were provided as I overlooked this when booking. Be sure to pack sheets and towels! »

« We travelled with guests from Germany who were interested in seeing the Canadian landscape. They were thrilled with the beautiful views of the river and the woods and the silence. The bedrooms and the bathroom are spacious. The kitchen was a little snug for 4 at the table but it was okay. Everything we needed for preparing and serving meals was available. May was a lovely time to be there, cold, but few bugs, and lots of beautiful wildflowers and birds. I'd love to come back in Fall. »

« The property was well stocked and we were made to feel most welcome, with wine, s'mores makings, all of the staples you'd need. The owners, who have a place next door are very friendly and came over and started our fires, invited us to use all of the water toys (and there are lots), and made sure we had everything we needed. While the boating can be busy in front of the cottage, we spent a couple of hours at a great little sandbar directly across, and kayaked through to the larger lake. »

« Spent 5 nights with my 3 children, to get away to do some ice fishing before the season ended. The cottage was exactly as described, the winter scenery was beautiful, and the fishing was amazing. We caught pike, walleye, perch, and even a massive brown bullhead. Starry nights with a fire, deer and bald eagles, welcoming locals, amenities all within a 10-minute drive - it was perfect. Would love to stay in the summer sometime, to see the lake and landscapes in all their glory! »
