« The homestay was a great rural location near to my friends, easy access from the main highway, clean and spacious. The Llamas were an added attraction. »

« The property was unique, comfortable and the host goes above and beyond. Important to know; The facility is a duplex though very private feeling. It is 20 min from Hobbiton, 75min from the glow worm caves. Each side has a unique character, dedicated parking, mostly private deck, bbq, and their very own outdoor private heated spa. One of the nicest places we stayed at on our trip. Thank you for sharing your hospitality with us! »

« Friendly hosts, Margaret and Rob, cooked up a great breakfast both mornings of our stay and provided good ideas for local dining and sightseeing. The lovely pristine little suite features a very comfortable bed, a small sitting area with very rural views (cows and sheep very close by). The only downside to this rental is its distance from amenities tho there is nice hiking in nearby Otanewainuku Park. »

Accommodating hosts and although we had a flight to catch the later check out than other places is a fantastic touch! Thoroughly enjoyed the space as a base while we explored the Mount. »

« Magnifique séjour avec nos hôtes Isabella et Brandon, un cadre merveilleux entouré de superbes chevaux de courses ( on peut les voir galoper à l'entraînement très tôt le matin), Ils nous ont accueillis comme si nous étions leurs amis, ils ont une culture autant kiwi qu'européenne, c'était un vrai plaisir de converser avec eux. Le petit déjeuner maison était gargantuesque, confiture, pain grillé, jambon, yaourts, jus d'orange, etc...Netflix à gogo ;) Très bon wifi »

« French Country House is a rare find. We absolutely loved everything about it. Romantic, charming rural setting with stunning views of the coast and Mount Manganui. The ambience is wonderful. You feel like you are living in your own little French chateau surrounded by stunning decor. It’s définitely a million miles away from a standard corporate hotel.
