« We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed it tremendously, because this lodge had everything – a jacuzzi, gym, cinema, and barbecue area.Everything was spotless, and the house smelled wonderful, which I especially appreciated since we had small babies with us.Terry was also a fantastic host who never hesitated to help us whenever we needed anything.I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to take a break from their daily routine.We can’t wait to come back again.Thank you, Terry! »

« Excellent communication with Sam before arrival.On arrival she was very welcoming.Throughout our stay she was very accommodating.Excellent local food recommendations.Really loved the fact that she does not use chlorine in her hot tubs but more environmentally and humanly friendly solutions. So nice not to stink of chlorine after using it, and skin felt so much nicer. Bed really comfy, and well equipped kitchen.Would recommend to friends. »

« We had a really lovely time at the Shepherd's hut. The hot tub was absolutely amazing on a chilly morning and it was lovely lying in bed listening to the owls. Sam was extremely welcoming and was very eager to ensure everything was perfect which it was. Lots of great places to visit near by - we did the cuckoo trail on our bikes, seven sisters walk, long man walk and a sunset walk along pevensey bay. »

« The semi cottage is a lovely place for 1-2 people to stay for a short visit to Canterbury. I loved the garden outside the window, and everything that one would need was available. Very clean and in a great location to walk to train, bus or downtown area. The sweet cat that visited outside my window was a plus too! The family living in the house was very accommodating when I needed a little help figuring out the lock on the door. Would stay here again. »

« There was a slight mix up at the beginning of our trip - (The owners had not received confirmation of our booking until we arrived so they were not aware of any visitors enroute to them until we phoned when we were 5 minutes away!) « I was disappointed with this stay. For the amount of money it cost, the caravan was not clean, was overcrowded and needs a lot of smarting up. You had to pay extra to have bedding which I think is unreasonable, particularly how much it cost per night anyway. Communication with the host was fine but not great.
