« The location is great, within walking distance to bus route, tokyo government building, and park. The place was very clean. The futons are not futons.. they are a thick comforter meant to be placed on the floor because of this i would say its suitable for only 6 people. »

« This is a great property that’s close to restaurants and shopping. It is about 10 min walk from JR line and about a 5 min walk from subway system. Big plus is it can sleep 6. Minus is that the dryer portion of the combined washer/dryer doesn’t work and there is only 1 chair in the unit. This unit is really designed around takeout food. Bring your own trash bags as you won’t find them here. Also limited escalator and small elevators from these train stations. Pack light and you may have to take...

« Une maison traditionnelle chargée d’histoire, idéalement située dans un quartier résidentiel. Après une longue journée de visite, quel plaisir de se reposer loin de toutes agitations touristiques. Les hôtes sont très réceptifs, vous répondent de suite, sont de bons conseils. Je recommande vivement cet endroit Un petit bémol : nuits agités à cause de l’insonorisation des murs car la maison est ancienne mais ce n’est qu’un détail »

« Sehr gute anbindung, die nächste Station ist etwa 5-10 zu fuß entfernt und man ist innerhalb von einer haltestelle sehr zentral in Shinjuku. Dafür eine sehr ruhige Gegend mit vielen Restaurants. Mehrere convenience stores in der direkten Umgebung (7-eleven 1 minute) »

« Wonderful traditional Japanese home. Nice space for 2 adults & 2 teens. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Location is a 12-15 min walk from a metro station so plan accordingly w/luggage. Host should repair sliding bathroom door (not smooth on track and 1 glass panel sounds close to leaping off) & add another mirror or two around the flat as the bathroom mirror is impossible to see yourself in & the lighting is terrible. Otherwise an excellent stay! »

« Once we found the place and got it heated to a desirable temperature, we had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. I personally found all the spices & sauces & cooking oils (mostly Chinese) left on the kitchen counter a little too much. The place was clean and spacious for the 4 adults and one toddler. Furniture, dishes and toys for the 2 year old was very comforting and useful. The location was also very convenient. From Kanamecho, Ikebukuro was walking distance and so much wonderful shopping...

« Great place to stay. Short walk to public transportation, convenience stores, and food. Clean, comfortable accommodations. Suitable for our entire family. I would stay here again. »
