« First of all, its close to the train station and various busses which is a bonus. the price of the room was a bargain and provided what we needed just fine, a bed, tv, kettle, cups, shower? toilet and cupboards, so 5* for that. we were on top floor which wasnt mentioned on the room directions on the ground floor, just said to room 21 but missed out 22. there was no plug in the sink and no details for the free wifi so couldnt get internet. the checkout time advertised was 11 and the door lock...

« On arrival no staff just a pin number sent to access room. On entering i sat on mattress and nearly fell through as its so thin and missing so many springs plus springs went straight into bottom. The tiny light on wall had no bulb in and was rusty and dirty. Room was dirty no wonder it was £30 for a night »

« Property was perfect for us. We needed somewhere close to the hospital for an early morning op and it was perfect. Saved a taxi fare by being able to walk. Recommended. »

« A decent bed for the night, with on suite toilet (no toilet paper though). Decent shared kitchen to use if required, and a quite area at night. Overall, I'll book with Darwin Guest house again. »

« If you're looking for a Marriott, go to a Marriott. For a lonely traveler with a car, it was everything I needed. You can feel the springs in the bed. The bathroom needs a refresh. But still, it was perfect for ME. The only thing really bad is location. You have to have a car or travel by taxi. Otherwise, it's a nice place to stay. You can have a full English breakfast WITH A continental breakfast. So your belly will be full until late afternoon. The people there were very kind to me, even if I...
