« The property is in a beautiful quiet location. The house is spacious and modern. However, we were disappointed with the cleanliness- it hadn’t been swept or mopped before our arrival, dusty surfaces, cobwebs in windows, weeds growing in balcony which was obviously never swept or cleaned. Dirty sheets in one bedroom. Air conditioning not working in one bedroom. No toilet paper in four bathrooms. No hairdryer. Only 4 towels out for 8 people. « My family of 6 stayed here from USA , for our 2 week vacation visiting the area and our UK family. The house was very large, clean and spacious and a good location near Havant and not far from the seafront. A small farm shop, stoke fruit farm half a mile away, for basics and the large Tesco in Havant. A walking path along the water edge was nice. Georgina was easy to contact. « We stayed in The White House for a celebratory weekend. It was perfect for our 4 generations of family. Ample space, wonderfully comfortable bedrooms, all with Ensuite bathrooms which gave everyone the privacy they wanted. The kitchen is a delight, the hub of the house, while the main lounge was ideal for cosy chats by the fire and hosting lots of family games. « Recommendation enough that this was our second stay at Cambisgate. A wonderful property in every way and we would love to return. Sadly prices have been hiked so much by the owners that this now seems unlikely. But, if you can afford what they are asking then I would say this is truly a special place to stay and you'd not be disappointed. It feels like a home from home but with all the special touches none of us have in our own homes - like 6 bathrooms and 5 bedrooms (!) and a view to die...
