District de Corozal - Nos maisons d'hôte de charme

« Very cute room (we stayed in a cabana that Sarah upgraded us to! Thank you!) and comfy huge king sized bed. AC worked well. Everything was super clean and had what we needed! The only downside was the mosquitoes since we were right on the canal, and it was a 30 min walk into town (or a 10usd/20bzd golfcart taxi, or ride the free bikes if you’re comfortable). Not much within short walking distance but very quiet area if you want to stay out of town. Sarah sent us a nice list with helpful things...

« The address was off but everything else was great »

« We rented the entire resort. Iz and the entire staff was amazing. His bar, El Norte, was on the property and a lot of fun. The on-site chef is an amazing cook and brought the food to your villa or bar. The onsite excursion guide, David, was top notch. We were very pleased with his service and helpful information. I would recommend this resort if you want a very peaceful environment. »

« Rhonda and Ron were amazing. There were so many things they did to help us, including suggestions for food, excursions, and fishing locations. The property was beautiful and so comfortable! It was a great location because it was a little off the beaten path, but close to walk to everything. I can’t recommend it enough-and I’m a very particular and ornery person in general. This place made my mood and vacation the best! »

« Top notch service from start to finish! Our flight had a major delay causing us to miss our shuttle and water taxi. Gene was able to schedule everything for us and saved the day! The location is perfection, walking distance to everything but away from noise. Beds are comfy, views are amazing, and the pool is perfection. Met the owners on our last night and they were also fantastic. You don’t want to miss this place! »

« Lovely pool and helpful staff. »

« The water from the well smells really bad. Makes the entire house stink. When you shower in the water, you stink. The odor permeates everything. Unless they address the water / well issue. I couldnt stay there again. »

« Paid over $600 US for three people, decided to leave San Pedro earlier than planned due to harassment by hawkers, emailed Amelias explaining would not be checking in, told no problem, go to hotel in person before arrival date for full refund. Went two days before, was told by owners wife there was no record of my booking, no record of my payment or my name, the rooms were already re-rented, and to discuss it with her husband, who was out of country and unavailable. »

« Waking up to this view outside of our villa was unbelievable. Our villa had everything we could’ve asked for from the a/c, cookware, fridge and microwave we couldn’t ask for anything more. The staff (Hector) was so accommodating to our every need and provided us with tons of information about the area. If you’re looking for a quiet beautiful place to stay I highly recommend this villa. Pictures are exactly as the villa looks and everything is updated. »
