« The property was in a fantastic location, with excellent views. The pair of little grebes on the pond were a joy to watch. The property was within easy reach of the town centre, which has much to offer. The property was clean and well equipped. The bed was very comfortable. The sofa was not comfortable if you have the slightest back issue (style over function), but we didn't spend that much time on it. We enjoyed the balcony, and peace and quiet of the location. We will be back! »

Gorgeous Shepherds Hut - Walk to Beach & Pub
West Wittering
8.8 sur 10, Excellent, (3 avis)
« Quirky accommodation with everything you need, ideally located within easy walking distance of shops and pubs. The only downsides are that the living area is quite compact, and the bathroom is rather small, with a very tiny sink that's not particularly practical to use. The bikes available were also covered in rust, making them difficult to use, and the windbreakers free to use appeared to have been left under cobwebs for quite some time »

« Very clean property with virtually every facility you could need for a short stay. Parking is a nice extra but the garage is on the tight side (anything much bigger than a VW Golf will struggle to fit). The location is around a 25min walk to the centre of Chichester and there’s a small shop nearby for milk etc. the fish and chip shop is very good but be aware it’s cash only. The only minor issue we had (not the owners fault!) is that we left an item behind which we were hoping to recover via...

« Great location and clean flat with decent basic cooking equipment. However, there were several things that went wrong or could be improved: - Upon arrival (early evening) the access code had not been sent as promised. Luckily the manager picked up the phone and eventually sent the code. If we had arrived much later this could have been a big issue. - There are several broken or badly patched fixtures: one bulb not working in the bedroom, extremely dim overhead light, broken toilet roll holder,...

« This is a very satisfactory stay in the small town of Midhurst. The flat is well-appointed and well-equipped. Remarkably the flat maintained a comfortable temperature during the current heatwave. The property does not have guaranteed parking but it is fair to endorse the owner's observation that the restrictions to street parking outside the property are not enforced. During our stay we saw a single traffic warden in the town who was active only on Midhurst main street solely early on a Saturday...
