« Only down side is that i didnt stay longer! A very cute little cottage with everything you need. Good heating, a very warm and comfortable bed. Spacious bathroom and a lovely little deck outside your room and access to a private outdoor bath. This is very close to Roxburgh and Ettrick traven is just up the road. I would love to come back and stay here again. There is no staff on site and i had to go to the cafe next door to ask about how to access my room. The ladies in the cafe said...

« Fantastically comfortable bed, couldn't wait to get into it each of the 3 nights we stayed. Nicely appointed and very clean accommodation but in this day and age the least expectation would be a small microwave and a sink in the room. Found plates, cups and cutlery but not ideal having to wash up in the bathroom and Ranfurly doesn't have many places to eat out at night. »

« For us too close to a main road and therefore too noisy - i wish a plan or similar of the site when booking informed us of this, also in this regard so we could choose a unit from the several there. However, to balance things the unit itself is really excellent, clean and well equipped and the owners have tried to plant a pleasant area around the units. It was dog friendly which we appreciated. »
