« Beautiful spot! Its clean, private, and you can listen to and watch the birds here for hours! The food is some of the best we had in Belize, the shrimp ceviche and rice and beans were SO good. They only cook for guests so you order ahead, very affordable but bring cash to pay! Its a short drive + walk from Monkey Falls too. »

« The cabin was pleasant, had basic necessities. I deducted two stars because there was absolutely NO COMMUNICATION from the host. The site said there would be no one present at check in and directions would be sent prior to arrival. I heard nothing, even after reaching out multiple times. I was concerned about arriving in early evening and not knowing how to get in. Turns out there was a lock with a key in it in the front door. « It's the 1st turn left past the Spanish Lookout turn going west. Passed it the 1st time, once I was on Society rd I knew it right. It is several miles from George Price Hwy, on a hill came to a Y, sign points to right and 1/3 mile later is entrance to Cozy Cabin on a hill. Great views on the deck to drink your morning coffee and or watch the sun set. Very relaxing country setting, on 1 side watching the cows migrate from 1 pasture to the next. Other side watching the goats & sheep grazing then...

« Our family of 5 stayed in two cabins in late December 2023 and had a great time. The cabins were clean and the beds were very comfortable. Each had a porch looking out over fields and the Macal River. Manon was a fantastic host. She gave us great recommendations on places to eat in San Ignacio and things to do in the Cayo Region. The Lodge is down a dirt road that is very bumpy (like most roads in the region) and became very muddy because of the rain so we parked about 1/3 mile from the lodge...

« Be prepared to live out of your suitcase, no storage, very small casita. Lots of issues with hot water, due to being of grid. Long ways from San Pedro or secret beach so golf cart is a must. »
