« The staff were all really attentive and friendly. The food was delicious! There are still some renovations going on but it didn’t spoil our stay. It’s going to be lovely when it’s completed. Thanks for a great stay. »

« The room was lovely though the walls were a bit thin and I could hear the neighbours TV. The floors of the upstairs rooms were a bit squeaky but it was a fairly rustic building so to be expected. The staff were excellent and very helpful. The kitchens were out of order but they provided a superb continental breakfast. »

« We had a fantastic stay at The Family Tree. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was lovely, clean and quiet. And the breakfast was amazing! Just a few minutes’ drive from the Tramway Museum, or a lovely 40-minute walk along the canal to the Hurt Arms in Ambergate.
In the end, we were sorry that we were only staying the one night; wish we could have stayed longer. We will absolutely stay here again the next time we’re in Derbyshire! »
