« The location is very conveniently located near the town, walking distance to a supermarket, but because of the vegetation surrounding the back yard it has the feel of being isolated. The deck and pool are nice for cooling off after the day of activities but we also really enjoyed using the sitting area in the breezeway between the driveway and the house. « We had a wonderful stay in San Ignacio at the Babette House. The house and the grounds were beautiful and clean and had all the amenities except access to washer and dryer. Plenty of room for a group of 9. House had everything we needed and what we ran out of we got at the market close by. Maybe needs more towels but not a big problem if you brought your own. « Great place to stay! Road is a bit bumpy but you get used to it. The pool and slide kept the kids and adults entertained after a day of activities. Jay was quick to respond with any questions. If you rent a car don’t go through Avis. Our car shut down twice on the road even though we gave them our pinned location. Neighbors on the road are all very friendly and helped us out both times. »

« What a cute place! We were a mixed group of ages traveling with 9 people total. The house was exactly as advertised. In a quiet neighborhood and 1 min walk to Cahal Pech and 8 minute drive to Xunantich ruins. Lots of little restaurants around and gas and groceries right down the road. The host was fabulous! « Une expérience plutôt mauvaise. Nous sommes arrivés et la boîte à clé était vide, sans clés. Heureusement que la voisine était présente et a pu appeler la propriétaire, pour régler le problème, sinon nous aurions été seuls en pleine nuit au milieu d’un endroit que nous ne connaissions pas, qui plus est avec un bébé. La maison était plutôt sale, avec un éclairage très faible, aucune vitre et seulement des moustiquaires, qui malheureusement étaient pleines de trous. Le wi-fi n’a jamais fonctionné....
