« The room is a repurposed office, so the shape is a little unusual having a full window as the wall facing the road. This is covered by a curtain. If you need to sleep in total darkness, it may be a little uncomfortable. The curtain blocked the light enough for us to sleep comfortably though. The location gives great walking access to the castle and train station. There are trains and buses to different cultural attractions.
There was a short fireworks show every evening from about 8:30 to 9...

« Flat is a lot bigger than expected. It has everything we need including a combo cooker (steamer/microwave/grill/oven) to warm things up. It is very convenient - walking distance to town/castle. We are aware that the flat is above an izakaya but did not expect to listen to karaoke till midnight. It was bearable but may not be for everyone. »
