« This was the perfect place to stay for a special event at nearby Wymondham College. I was warmly (well, it was during the heatwave!) and cheerfully greeted by Tracey. My room was clean, well-prepared and provided me with all the facilities I required. It was extremely competitively priced. My thanks to the staff concerned for their part in a really memorable weekend. »

« A reasonable hotel with a good restaurant. Very good food available in the dining room, staff helpful and pleasant. A lack of heating and hot water marred our stay (in November) but otherwise good »

« My favourite East Anglian hotel - recently refurbished, just as friendly and welcoming. As usual there were all sorts here, it's a proper 'local' - good food, good beer, good cheer! Lots of interesting opinions - all topical issues covered and easily overheard. The bar has two tellies now, and I enjoyed watching the end of an ODI (Sri Lanka won), and then some Happy Valley with mein hosts. I thoroughly recommend anyone to stay here (as long as you can do stairs), it's reasonably priced, the...

« The house was spacious and cosy. Plenty of outdoor space for the children to play. Plenty of games to play, lots of butterflies and bees and swings in the trees. Shame the ponds were dried up because of the heat but the areas are lovely. An amazing holiday for our family. Thank you. »

« I booked this property because it acepts dogs. When I arrived the owner was quite horrible with me about my dog. Apparently you need to state about your dog coming even though the website doesn't state that! Poor communication and as a paying customer I was put off by the owners attitudes »

« Proper country pub great food and ale and quiet location »

« Enjoyed the lunch »

« Lovely friendly staff, always remembering that I stayed before. We get the room we have requested. We order a vegetarian roast which is outstanding, food delicious and hot. Plenty of parking. Depending where the room is you can hear the traffic going past in the evening & mornings but overall alovely stay. That's why we keep going back and also you have a choice of breakfast part of the deal. »

« Located in the center of town. Great staff. Very comfortable room »
