« Rustic cabin. Small beach is 1/4 walk. Nice outdoor area at cabin. Limited outlets, none in bathroom. Heating consists of a few space heaters. One AC upstairs in flex room and some fans. Nice furniture and appliances. Glad we could bring our dog. »

Also used to train our young Labrador Retriever (the reason we were in the area). « 1890s Elegant mansion with great bones and almost completely restored. Pool would be big plus in summer and game room definitely a plus, though some equipment needed repair. Great location for our short family reunion of 6 adults and 3 tweens. Would worry about kids less than 10 or limited mobility folks as stairs quite tight or spirally and high. « I had a last minute family emergency and needed a place to stay, quick! This Caroga Lake location was available and it worked out wonderfully. The location was great and the size was perfect. Communication with the host was wonderful. I accidentally locked myself out (whoops 😂) and the issue was resolved within a reasonable time. Would definitely stay here again »

« I booked this cabin fri-Sun as a meet up with some friends I don’t get to see much. Unfortunately I had mechanical problems on the way and didn’t arrive until 5am sat morning. « 8 college friends gathered at this property, a short drive to Sacandaga Lake. Large fully stocked kitchen, dining room seats 10, living room with fireplace and TV, plenty of sleeping space. Was easily able to communicate with owner and hope to return soon. »

« Lovely weekend - House was very nice. Clean and well furnished/amenities. Fire pit in back was nice - firewood is available for a cost - but we found some in the woods. Directions were tough as the map on VRBO is not accurate. Host did reach out about it - but we all drove past it the first time! Appeared to be up near Jockeybush trailhead but was quite a bit south. Overall a lovely place and we had a great weekend. »
