« The bathroom had a gas smell in the night and the toilet in room 215 was extremely difficult to flush . Tv needs a manual and couldn’t get standard channel on but room and view was wonderful. Staff short in breakfast area . Had to wait to get sat down . N still havnt got out toast . Food was lovely when we got it though . »

« War ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt. Das Zimmer gerĂ€umig, ein nettes Zimmer typisch fĂŒr eine Pension, deutlich mehr Charme als ein Hotelzimmer. Nicht ganz so toll der Teppich in Bad /WC, dafĂŒr aber der Besitzer super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Umgebung ist auch interessant, einige Museen und schöne Gegend, wenn man nur richtigen Jahreszeit dort ist und Zeit hat. »

« What was uppermost from our stay was the friendliness and warmth of every single member of staff we met. The room itself was very clean and all our needs were met. The breakfast was well cooked, made to personal preference of selected ingredients eg way eggs cooked and of good proportion. The property was also 10 mins at most walking distance from the town centre. I have no critisism of my stay here. »

« We stayed at the water Rat for a family wedding, we had a wonderful 2 nights stay, the staff were very friendly and very helpful, the room was excellent and had a gorgeous meal on our first nights stay, would definitely have a return visit if we were in that area. »
