« It's pretty basic, hot and sticky with plenty of flying, buzzing, screeching creatures, but you're in the rainforest so what do you expect? They really care about the rainforest and work with a local wildlife rescue that rescues animal and rehabilitates them to go back into the wild. « Eine lauschige Sitzgruppe in gepflegtem Grün - so zeigt es das Aufmacherfoto. Die Realität: Ein trostlose Zimmer, zwei Betten, ein Stuhl, nur kaltes Wasser und Licht im Bad funktioniert nicht. Die 24-Stunden-Rezeption war im 19.30 nicht besetzt, sodass wir durchs Fenster einsteigen musste. Die inzwischen schrottreife Sitzgruppe war von den Hühnern im Garten als Toilette genutzt, der Hahn weckte pünktlich um 4.00 Uhr.
