« Pleasant stay for one night in Joensuu. The staff was very friendly (as you'd expect in Northern Carelia overall) and the hotel was clean and overall very pleasant. The room was spatious and quiet and we enjoyed the breakfast, especially the local carelian pastries. »

« This is the first time that I have stayed here. It is a lovely hotel and is only a ten minute walk to the centre. The choices at breakfast are really good. There is no kettle in the room but there is one in the communal lounge area where there is also a microwave. There is an ABC garage across the road and it has a cafe and a small supermarket the cakes here are amazing. In the centre there is the tourist information centre, two supermarkets (S Market and K Market) and there is also a Marimekko...
