We were at Half Moon Beach on one of the scales of a cruise ship. According to information passed on to us on board the island was purchased by Holland America Line and is used as one of the company's cruise calls.

« The property is beautiful and we enjoyed our stay. However, the listing was a bit misleading—only one bedroom and the bunkhouse were accessible, not the three bedrooms and baths advertised. There was no access to a washer/dryer, and the upstairs shower had very low water pressure. The upstairs bedroom and bathroom also lacked window coverings, which made privacy an issue. That said, the host was responsive and assured us these concerns would be addressed with the property manager. »

« The house was fully equipped and clean. There was nothing that we needed that wasn’t already there. The location was 2 minutes from the airport and 5 minutes from 2 very well equipped grocery stores. We’ve stayed on a lot of Bahamian islands and have to say this one had the most up to date rental cars and access to groceries and amenities.
