« Cet hôtel est situé sur un site charmant et historique de Canton: l'ile Shamian. Nous étions 3 amis et avons été surclassés en Suite à notre arrivée dans le bâtiment ouest de l'Hotel où nous avons passé 2 nuits. Le personnel est très pro et les prestations sont de très bonne qualité. Le petit-déjeuner buffet est aussi très complet. Nous recommandons. »

« The location wasn't bad. It was close to Beijing Road (shopping area). The access to the metro station was 5-6 minutes walk. However, at the reception, it was very difficult to communicate in English. The bed was so hard, felt like sleeping on the concrete. The room didn't smell of cigarettes, but all the hallway, elevator areas and lobby were full of cigarette smell, which was horrible. « The hotel is in a great location very close to the metro station. The staff are very friendly and helpful but only one that we dealt with really spoke English so make sure you have a translation app on your phone. With a bit of effort on both sides everything was fine. The rooms are much nicer than we expected for the price and very clean. They are on the small side though. Would definitely recommend and stay again! »

« Il est parfaitement situé près du métro d’un petit port de navette j’ai adoré voyage seule trop bien placé j’ai beaucoup marché. Ma chambre très grande et confortable contente je ne regrette rien. Serviettes, Prises adapte pas eu besoin d’achater un adaptateur. Le personnel sont pas fort en anglais mais pas de soucis. Le wifi en général est pas top mais l’appli Plans d’un téléphone pomme marche trop bien indique les lignes de métro et bus. Et l’hotel est inratable il fait parti des hôtels qui...

Bel hôtel bien situé

"Tout est très bien, juste qu’il n’y a pas de room service ni de restauration. Et c’est compliqué d’acheter en ligne en tant qu’étranger. De plus, il n’est pas possible d’aller au sauna en couple et ce n’était pas précisé quand je leur ai demandé la réservation."

"Very old, decayed, everything is outdated. Staff hardly speak English so my friend got charged 48rmb for a coffee when he showed he only had a 20rmb banknote. Maria duty manager cancelled the bill. Thank you for that. But this is the worst Shangri La ever seen. Seems frozen in 1985. Even room key must be inserted, in the elevator, in the room door. I could write for hours how disappointing was this experience but it is useless. There are plenty of new and fully modern hotel around. The location is the closest to Luohu port but that’s the only advantage. Should be completely modernized from A to Z or it will just deteriorate Shangri La brand. I have to mention that I had a cheap price though, 560rmb. Still better deal are easy to find for a higher quality in the neighborhood "
