« This was a wonderful experience. Very nice family run hotel. This was one of the perfect stay we had. The room was very neat and clean everything was there what you needed, The location of the hotel is ideal, walkable distance from the centre. Most of all, the people who run this hotel are fantastic, specially Nicky, who made our stay very memorable and pleasant. I will definitely recomend this hotel to my friends and relatives and we will look forward to go back there again. »

« What a fantastic stay at The Carpenters cottage. The hosts Helen and Patrick were so warm and welcoming and Patrick also has an amazing workshop you can have a look at. We came to stay for my birthday to watch a band at the arts centre, and had such a wonderful time. Everybody was so kind and generous. The cottage was very comfortable, super clean and warm. « Le séjour à l'hÎtel Mercure à Hull a été agréable. Les mariages organisés dans l'hÎtel étaient forcément un peu bruyants. Nous avons été dérangés en pleine nuit par des personnes qui ont discuté devant notre porte. Sinon les chambres sont spacieuses. Il manque un mini frigo. Les chambres nécessiteraient un rafraßchissement. Le bémol pour la moquette pour les personnes allergiques. Mais nuit et cadre reposant. »

« First of all I got a fantastic welcome from Lee and Carol who are very chatty and a really nice couple who couldn't do enough to make you feel at home. Their daughter was the chef and the food was excellent, generous portions and to be honest I thought was underpriced for what you got. I'd thoroughly recommend this hotel to any walkers doing the Way in fact it'd be the first place to book to make sure you get in! Hope to return again 1 day. Keep up the good work, enjoyed it immensely. »
