« We love it here! We’ve stayed before and we will return! Great set up in the chalets, perfect for us with 2 kids. Walking distance to the big carrot playground and into town for restaurants, bakery etc. 25 min up to Turoa and less than an hour to whakapapa. The chalets are easily heated, cosy and well maintained. »

« Tekoa Lodge was perfect for our family ski trip. House is very warm with the woodburner going. Lots of space inside and out. Very short drive to the mountain. The private bush track down the river is also very cool. We would certainly stay again. Oh, and David is an excellent communicator. »

« We had an amazing stay, family of 4 with a baby and a 3yo. Nice and close to whakapapa ski field. The fireplace was amazing and made us all feel super cosy. Spa pool was great too! My daughter enjoyed reading the children’s books. We bought food from ohakune as were unsure if there was a supermarket but the 4 square by the petrol station is huge and has everything you need. »

« We had a lovely time in Ohakune. This property is very peaceful and has a beautiful view on Mt Ruapehu. The place was very comfortable. Just note that the stairs are very steep. »

« Our stay was amazing, although the road noise in the two front rooms where annoying I guess it's only until the road is opened again on state highway 1. The venue was lovely and we all enjoyed the 1920s theme, we even dressed in period clothing for dinner on the sat night. The house was well set up with everything we needed, and close to visiting the mountain. I would recommend this venue, especially for large groups. »
