« Not recommended, hotel needs a deep cleaning and massive refresh »

« Had a good time here in this residence and I did enjoy it. I kept extending my stay cos I love it here in Penang and with the residence. I was blamed for a minor crack in the room’s lamp which we did not do, but we manage to talk with the stuff about it through whatsapp and solve it. Lovely stuff, just the room cleaner they need to be quite and be honest sometimes, even to smile when you greet them. But overall I give the residents a 5 star »

« Nice decor. Next to Sunshine Central mall which is super convenient with many food and retail options. Nice size pool with a view and the gym was handy when it rained. »

« Magnifique endroit. »

« We stayed for 4 days enjoying the kind and thoughtful hospitality provided by Brendan Hamid and Hamada. The recently restored bungalow was fully equipped, very comfortable and had lovely touches like a library of recent books on Penang history its buildings and gardens, flora and fauna. We stayed in a large room on the ground floor which was spotless. The views from the balcony of Georgetown and Butterworth were wonderful. The hotel is very conveniently located close to the Penang Hill...

« Overall experience good.Wasn’t allocated sea view room.Could have provided more cooking utensils. »

« If you like the wilderness then you’ll be fine here. We were the only guests in the resort and the service was over attentive to the point we were uncomfortable. The doors did not lock so did not sleep well, worrying that someone would get into the room. There was a shared outside toilet and shower. The general state of the buildings was poor, and incredibly expensive for what we got. We couldn’t wait to get out of there. »
