« One or maybe the best hotel with pool at the beach in Arumgambay. The rooms are rather small and basic but OK compared to other places. A fridge would be a nice addition though. The bathroom is also small and basic, and we had a lot of ants the first days (but that is kinda everywhere). The WIFI was "so-so" but that was kinda everywhere in Sri Lanka (better off buying a SIM-card). The service and staff was excellent and everyone was helpfull and service-minded. Such a glorious setting with a great little pool surrounded by so many tall palm trees all fenced off from the deserted beach at the edge of the property. « Quoted about $150 on expedia but management wouldn't accept the price and was charged $275. Breakfast was terrible, mainly toast and jam. No clean linen or towels. Wifi hardly worked and in the mornings had to wait to wake up the "chef" to have breakfast. So don't book early morning tours. »
