« A truly unique resort set in a beautiful natural environment. The tented villas are very comfortable, clean, and tastefully designed. Stunning lagoon location close by. The staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive, providing warm and personal service. Excellent food with fresh, local ingredients. Ideal for nature lovers and those seeking peace and adventureâkeep in mind the remote location if you prefer city life or nightlife. »

« The hotel had been abandoned. We managed to check-in but there have been no staff onsite since. A local has told us that the Indian company that owns the hotel has not paid the local staff wages and they have been forced to leave. The hotel is filthy, there is literally no staff anywhere to be seen. »

« One or maybe the best hotel with pool at the beach in Arumgambay.
The rooms are rather small and basic but OK compared to other places.
A fridge would be a nice addition though.
The bathroom is also small and basic, and we had a lot of ants the first days (but that is kinda everywhere).
The WIFI was "so-so" but that was kinda everywhere in Sri Lanka (better off buying a SIM-card).
The service and staff was excellent and everyone was helpfull and service-minded. Big thanks to the older yoga...

« Wonderful staff and very accommodating. Rooms are clean and the pool was well maintained. Great for families with kids since it is a brief walk from the Main Street in Arugambay. »

« Rustic hotel accommodation right on beach, 10 minute drive out of Arugam Bay. Tuk Tuk accessible. Basic accommodation with wifi only in verandah of our unit (11), and in dining area. Lovely atmosphere and staff are very accommodating and friendly. Loved their Sri Lankan meals. Itâs not 5 star hotel but the staff make up for it. »

« There was a problem with our reservation as apparently hotels.com bookings do not transfer over to the hotels system and therefore they had no record of our booking. This meant that they did not have the rooms that we had booked available. The hotel owner/manager was very helpful in finding us different rooms but these were not what had been reserved and meant that we had to separate family members which was not ideal for a week. « We were warmly welcomed by the staff. The accommodation is not in the middle of the city but in a quieter location, that suited us perfectly. The accommodation borders a long, beautiful beach that leads you to the Surf paradise. Lovely outdoor shower in our cabana. Worked well with the fan mosquito net. Good service with everything from food, bikes, washing clothes. Very nice and accommodating staff. We appreciated the accommodation so much that we chose to book another night. Lungy and nice....
