« We visited our family so this was a great location for it. Beautiful spot on the lake and close enough to town for supplies. Comfortable beds, though pillows could be replaced. Lots of room and comfortable furniture. Kitchen was sufficient but could use a few more supplies, ie toaster, kitchen utensils. Overall we had a great experience and would definitely recommend. »

« We loved it. Have already rebooked another stay for this fall. Proprieters were very kind, rates are very reasonable, and the views are spectacular. Wifi hot spot really easy to access vis your smartphone. Firewood for woodstove and fire pit was free and plentiful, kitchens and washroom well-equipped. Beds were a little hard for our bodies, and it was a little chilly in the mornings (cottages are not insulated), but it's a cottage in the woods, so you have to accept that going into this. We...

« Super fun stay! Backyard is great for yard games and grilling. Beautiful views and sunsets over Lake Superior and we got to see a rolling fog over the lake, so that was pretty cool. Fun outdoor activities in the local area. Indoors is great, lots of room and sleeping space for guests as well as clean! »

« Weekend stay for 5 adults in this 3 bedroom, 2 bath like new home. Kitchen well equipped, new appliances and clean, crisp design. Comfortable beds. Location close to where we needed to be, plenty of parking. Next time we’d hope to use the cute back patio. Love the big window in the kitchen door. Stay here, we will again. »

« Our two ski families had a great stay near Searchmont. Everything was clean and tidy, with lots of space. Our hosts were extremely easy to reach and always making sure we were comfortable. One bedroom was in a living space (no door) which didn't cause us an issue, however worth noting for others. »

My mother used the bedroom and I slept on the futon that I have to was my best night sleep in our two week road trip. Easy location to other amenities in the area and parking was a breeze.
