« Nice old pub building in the centre of the small town. Down stairs arras were very nice with a cosy and traditional atmosphere. On checking in was advised kitchen was closed for 2 of the 3 nights. Breakfast (American pancakes) was very poor. Room was ok but tired around the edges. Very few power points and signs of a long term leak from shower which is always off putting. « We went away with our grandson for two nights. Our family room was fantastic!! Very roomy, great bathroom with bath and a shower and a balcony. We also took our dog and he was allowed to go in all areas. The grounds are beautiful and relaxing. Swimming pool was really nice, the hotel has spent some money in refurbishing certain areas. »

« Good stay in a very tired hotel, when we checked in, the male receptionist was not very welcoming, not a good start. Great room, great view through the patio door along with a great draughty through the doors. « Julie my wife and I stayed at kates farm for three nights for a break and a rest, we had a great break and we are totally rested. Fantastic break, Julie and Kate walking dogs every morning and evening, I kept the real fire going and that was perfect for us to sit down next to in the evening. Others said the breakfast was great and they are correct, Kates breakfast was fantastic .Kate was very attentive at all times and we felt perfectly at home. »

« The hotel is in a great position, less than five minutes walk from Lynton centre, has fantastic sea views and also looks down over Lynmouth. It is also right beside the funicular railway and even has its own entrance by the top. Our room wasn't the biggest but it was comfortable and being twin aspect had great views. There is an honesty bar and interesting public areas. There was even an EV charging point in the hotel car park. All in all a very pleasant stay. »
